N·Back is built so that none of your personal information ever leaves your device.
What we collect
Nothing.
- We do not collect personal information.
- We do not require an account.
- We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
- We do not transmit your training data, settings, or device identifiers.
- We do not use cookies on this website beyond what is needed to serve the static pages.
What is stored on your device
Your training history, settings, the name you entered during onboarding, and your progress are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple’s standard on-device storage. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, this data may be included in your encrypted Apple backup, which is handled by Apple under their privacy terms — not ours.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple’s StoreKit. We never receive your payment details. Apple may share aggregate, anonymized purchase reports with us through App Store Connect (for example, total monthly sales by region). These reports cannot be used to identify you. Third parties
We do not share data with any third parties, because we do not collect data.
Children
N·Back is not directed at children under 13. Because we do not collect data from anyone, we also do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. To remove all locally stored N·Back data, delete the app from your iPhone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated in the app’s release notes.
